VTG Rail UK and Hope Cement have won a top freight industry award at the 2016 Global Freight Awards.

The Environment Award was presented for their tailor-made, state-of-the-art, lightweight aluminium JPA cement wagons, which have improved Hope Cement’s ability to consistently transport over 1 million tonnes of cement a year by rail, while removing over 33,000 truckloads from local roads during the same period.
