Breedon Group (“Breedon”), the leading vertically-integrated construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland, is delighted to announce that it has acquired Thomas Bow Limited (“TBL”) from Nottingham City Council.
TBL, an East Midlands asphalt, surfacing and civil engineering business that delivered annual revenue of c.£29m in the year to March 2022, is a natural fit with Breedon’s local business model and entrepreneurial culture. We have been working successfully in partnership with TBL for the past four years through our joint venture, Breedon Bow Highways Limited. We are pleased to have this opportunity to continue to grow our presence in the East Midlands and secure a route to market for Breedon’s upstream surfacing materials. In addition, we are delighted that Alistair Bow will be continuing as Managing Director of TBL, along with his senior team.
